BAA Heathrow Terminals 1 and 3:

• Power Plan Services were Mechanical Services consultants for the new T1 chillers and cooling towers.
• We used the software model to underpin medium term infrastructure development strategy. This resulted in a £10m investment project in chillers, distributed pipe work and capacity development.
   

BAA Heathrow Terminals 2 and 4

• Trouble shooting and system performance surveys.
• Developed strategy for new chillers and cooling towers.
   

BAA Heathrow Terminal 5:

• Design of heat recovery for T5 CHP plant to provide 13MW of heating.
   

BAA Gatwick:

• Modelled high-temperature hot water (HTHW) and chilled water to identify system improvements and managed implementation of changes.
   

BAA Stansted

• Plant optimisation for centrlaised chilled water and LTHW identified 1,000 tonnes of annual CO2 reduction.
